The specification of concrete for projects is an often overlooked and misunderstood aspect of the design process. Proper specification of concrete facilitates economical construction and helps prevent problems that may become evident after construction. There are also considerations which come up during construction that may necessitate reevaluation of the concrete mix. Concrete suppliers have staff that are uniquely qualified to help engineers and builders get good results - this presentation will discuss some aspects of getting good concrete.
